Mr. Andrew Casey has served as the Director of Band at Pepperell High School since 2022. An Alumni of PHS, Mr. Casey went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Jacksonville State University. While at JSU, he played in various ensembles, including the Marching Southerners, Wind Ensemble, Jazz combos, and other small chamber groups. In these ensembles, Mr. Casey had the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people all over the world, from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to Rome, Italy. Before teaching at Pepperell, Mr. Casey was the Assistant Director of Bands at Ola Middle School, overseeing 200+ students in Beginning Band, Concert bands, Symphonic bands, Pep Band, and Jazz Band. Mr. Casey is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, North American Brass Band Association, and a proud alumnus of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
Mr. Timothy Linley is currently in his fourth year as the Director of Bands at Pepperell Middle School. Previously, he taught for three years as the Director of Bands at Woodland High School in Stockbridge, GA and one year as the Middle School Band Director/Assistant Band Director at Brooks Co. Middle & High School. Mr. Linley is a 2010 graduate of Cass High School in Cartersville, GA and recipient of the John Phillips Sousa Award. He attended Young Harris College where he pursued a degree in Music Education and graduated in 2014. While at Young Harris College, he studied trombone with Scott Barnstead and was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, Resident Assistant, Student Alumni Ambassador, Generation X Gospel Choir, Multi-Cultural Club, and Concert Band. After attending Young Harris College, Linley went to Lee University, where he pursued a degree in Instrumental Conducting. While at Lee University, he studied with Dr. David Holsinger as his graduate assistant. In his spare time, Mr. Linley enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children, Ezekiel and Zahava.
Keiley Youmans is a graduate of Floyd County Schools and is the music teacher at Alto Park Elementary. She has received both a B.A. and M.A. in music education from Jacksonville State University. She has performed across the country as a member of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band, the JSU Marching Southerners, and the JSU Center Stage Winter Guard. In 2022, she was a featured performer in the World Games opening ceremony hosted in Birmingham, Alabama.
