Mr. Thomas Andrew Casey - High School, Director of Bands

Mr. Andrew Casey is currently in his second year as the Director of Band at Pepperell High School. After graduating from Pepperell in 2015, Mr. Casey went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Jacksonville State University in 2020. While at JSU, he played in various ensembles, including the Marching Southerners, Wind Ensemble, Jazz combos, and other small chamber groups. In these ensembles, Mr. Casey had the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people all over the world, from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to Rome, Italy. Before teaching at Pepperell, Mr. Casey was the Assistant Director of Bands at Ola Middle School. Mr. Casey is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, International Tuba Euphonium Association, and a proud alumnus of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He actively performs in the Northwest Georgia Winds on Euphonium and the Roman Festival Brass (a British Style Brass Band) on Baritone. In his spare time, Mr. Casey enjoys making music, playing video games, and spending time with his fiancé, Shelby, and their 3 cats (Odin, Po, and Jack). 

Mr. Timothy Linley - Middle School, Director of Bands

Mr. Timothy Linley is currently in his second year as the Director of Bands at Pepperell Middle School.  Previously, he taught for three years as the Director of Bands at Woodland High School in Stockbridge, GA and one year as the Middle School Band Director/Assistant Band Director at Brooks Co. Middle & High School.  Mr. Linley is a 2010 graduate of Cass High School in Cartersville, GA. He attended Young Harris College where he pursued a degree in Music Education and graduated in 2014.  While at Young Harris College, he studied trombone with Scott Barnstead and was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, Resident Assistant, Student Alumni Ambassador, Generation X Gospel Choir, Multi-Cultural Club, and Concert Band.  After attending Young Harris College, Linley went to Lee University, where he pursued a degree in Instrumental Conducting. While at Lee University, he studied with Dr. David Holsinger as his graduate assistant.  In his spare time, Mr. Linley enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their newborn son Ezekiel.  Linley believes that music is not about the hardware you earn; it is about the heartware that stays with you the rest of your life.  Linley is excited about being in Dragon Country.

Keiley Youmans - Colorguard

Keiley Youmans is a graduate of Floyd County Schools and is the music teacher at Alto Park Elementary. She has performed as part of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band, the JSU Marching Southerners, and the JSU Center Stage Winter Guard.
