The ROME BRAVES fundraiser is well underway for 2015. We had the month of APRIL to train and assess how each shift should run and how many team members (students & adults) will be needed to run a successful game. This is a wonderful event to raise money for individual student accounts as well as for the DRAGON BAND general fund.
Beginning in MAY we will be running the concession stand with the exact number of people needed for each work station. The person signing up to work is expected to arrive on time. If you are unable to work your scheduled day, you must contact the TEAM LEADER. Please consider signing up as an “alternate” if you are unsure of your availability or your skills to work the ROME BRAVES.
CHARMS Volunteer Signup
Beginning with the May 18th game we will be using CHARMS for all volunteer slots and staffing. We encourage everyone to download the “CHARMS Parent/Student Portal” app for your mobile device. Our school code is “PHSBAND” and your password is your student number by default. You can also find a handout regarding the ROME BRAVES FUNDRAISER in CHARMS under “Handouts & Files” when you login.
THE FOLLOWING ARE REGULAR START TIMES – CHECK THE CHARMS CALENDAR FOR EXACT START TIMES:
Monday through Friday games begin at 7PM and you are expected to be in the concession stand by 6PM or earlier.
Saturday games begin at 6PM and you are expected to be in the concession stand by 5PM or earlier.
Sunday games begin at 2PM and you are expected to be in the concession stand by 1PM or earlier.
On the second no-show/no-call, the volunteer will be removed from the schedule for the season.
